About In Fine Spirits
For the business owners, most of our leisure time was spent exploring and educating ourselves about wine and spirits.
Jill and Shane Kissack were married in 2001 in a small Michigan winery, Heart of the Vineyard. They developed the In Fine Spirits retail store in 2004, because they love living in the Uptown/Andersonville neighborhood and recognized a need for a local wine shop.
The idea for the wine & spirits bar started in 2007, when Jill and Shane partnered with Johnnie Grozenski and Paul Hasenwinkel to develop the concept. All four partners are excited to bring this concept to the north side of the city.

Our wine shop specializes in New World wines and unusual varietals that represent the cutting-edge of quality and value. A spirit of
adventure and a new definition of "fine wine" await, with friendly and knowledgeable staff to guide you in your explorations.
Whether a bottle costs $8 or $100, we believe quality is a function of value rather than price. Well over half of our inventory of
boutique wines is priced under $20 and we always have at least 75 wines under $12!
At the same time, we carry a selected array of limited, reserve and collectible bottles, as well as unusual liquors and craft brews
to suit any occasion or taste.
We also offer free tastings every other Saturday and the first Friday of the Month to help you discover
new varietals, new takes on the varietals you already love, and new blends.
Entertaining? Whether you're planning a small dinner party or a pull-out-the-corks bash, let us select
a complement of unusual wines that will have your guests raising their glasses! Our personal consultation services will ensure a perfect
