Summer Wine Flights
We've assembled nine discovery-themed "tasting trios." Each flight includes three individual 2 ounce pours in tasting glasses. Here are three samples for summer sipping:
Around the World in a Bubble
Tour bubbles from three different countries in this trio of sparkling wines:
Prosecco: Bisol Jeio NV (Italy)
Cava: Sumarroca 2005 Brut Reserva (Spain)
Blanc de Noirs: Gruet NV (New Mexico)
|
Gertrude's Garden
With all due respect to Ms. Stein, a rosé is not a rosé is not a rosé! We think she and Alice would love the sweetness, subtleties and complexities of these picks.
Rosé: Bodegas Muga 2007 (California)
Rosé: Château Mourgues du Grès 2007 "Fleur d'Églantine" (France)
Rosé: Murphy’s Law 2007 (Washington)
|
Blanc Bombshell
Okay, so they’re not harvested in Hollywood and they don’t drive convertibles... but you’ll definitely taste the bold West Coast sunshine in this trio of white wines.
Sauvignon Blanc: Frog’s Leap 2007 "Rutherford–Napa Valley" (Rutherford, California)
Chenin Blanc: Dry Creek Vineyards 2007 "Dry" (Clarksburg, California)
Pinot Blanc: Four Graces 2006 (Dundee Hills, Oregon)

Summer Cocktails
We've assembled three pages of delicious cocktail suggestions from our classic cocktail repertory that incorporate modern, artisanal spirits. Here are a couple of samples for summer refreshments:
Pimm’s Cup
The original has not lost its edge over time, still the signature cocktail of Wimbledon after more than 120 tournaments! No. 1 was formulated by James Pimm and his famous 'Oyster Bar' in London in 1823. The gin-based formula is a secret blend of quinine, herbs, spices, and other aromatic ingredients rumored to be known by only six people in the world.
|
Moscow Mule
A 1940s cocktail conceived and promoted by a Hollywood bar owner and a Smirnoff distributor to save a struggling brand of ginger beer? This drink is credited with switching America’s cocktail preference from gin to vodka, starting with the "Tinseltown glitterati," Blenheim’s 1903 Hot Ginger Ale makes this a spicy and delicious kick for summer!
|
SPECIAL NOTE: We now offer traditional absinthe fountain service at the bar! ($10 per person)
Summer Beer
This summer our beer list has expanded by nearly 50%, including several seasonal summer quaffers. Here are just two samples:
Allagash White
A New England interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer. Brewed with a generous portion of wheat and a unique blend of spices, this beer is slightly cloudy with tiny bubbles and notes of coriander and banana. (25.3 oz)
|
Atomium Premier Grand Cru
The only beer in the world brewed with six grains (barley, spelt, rye, maize, wheat and buckwheat) provides classic hints of curaçao orange and coriander, with a complex character rounded out with hints of fresh baked bread with honey. (11.2 oz)
