For the business owners, most of our leisure time was spent exploring and educating ourselves about wine and spirits.
Jill and Shane Kissack were married in 2001 in a small Michigan winery, Heart of the Vineyard. They developed the
In Fine Spirits retail store in 2004, because they love living in the Uptown/Andersonville neighborhood and recognized
a need for a local wine shop.
The idea for the wine & spirits bar started in 2007, when Jill and Shane partnered with Johnnie Grozenski and
Paul Hasenwinkel to develop the concept. All four partners are excited to bring this concept to the north side of the city.
