California Wine

By the glass:
starting at $6

Wines of California California’s wine industry dates back more than 250 years, when Spanish missionaries introduced their winemaking craft to the region. Now, California produces nearly three billion bottles of wine annually from nearly 100 varietals and almost 100 viticultural areas. We believe these are some of the best!

  • Dry Creek Vineyards 2006 Chenin Blanc “Dry”
  • Copain 2007 Saisons ‘Le Printemps’ Rosé
  • Enotria 2000 Nebbiolo
  • D-Cubed Cellars 2005 Primitivo
Plus our Roman Holiday Flight: Take a tasty excursion through three varietals of Italian heritage, all grown in the Golden State!

California Cocktail

Moscow Mule
$9.5
Featured Cocktail A 1940s cocktail conceived and promoted by a Hollywood bar owner and a Smirnoff distributor to save a struggling brand of ginger beer? This drink is credited with switching America’s cocktail preference from gin to vodka, starting with the “Tinseltown glitterati” – including Broderick Crawford and Greer Garson.

We update the recipe only slightly, with California’s Hangar One vodka and Blenheim’s 1903 Hot Ginger Ale, to create a spicy and delicious kick for summer!

California Beer

Lagunitas Brewing Co. PILS
12 oz $4
Featured Beer Chicago native and home brewer Tony Magee established Lagunitas Brewing Company 14 years ago in a Forest Knolls market, just east of Lagunitas in western Marin County. Since “evicted” to Petaluma, the Lagunitas team continues to grow, producing innovative brews with curious names, such as “Olde Gnarleywine” and “Hairy Eyeball.”

We think Lagunitas has the best slogan in beer: “Beer speaks, People mumble”. Well, here’s what PILS, their Czech-style pilsner, says: “Drink several of me out on the patio! I am light, crisply effervescent and oh-so-thirst quenching.”
