2008 Wine Club

In the upcoming year In Fine Spirits offers the opportunity to experience the hidden side of the wine business. Each week we pass on a number of bottles of wine brought to us by representatives of different distribution companies. For lack of space, budget restrictions, or overlapping varietals and blends we cannot carry some of the most interesting bottles we taste. These bottles leave our table and end up being sold to rival bottle shops, mercilessly marked up at restaurants, or more likely languishing in obscurity.

This year's wine club provides the motive to buy and cellar these bottles in order to share them with those customers willing to trust our judgment and experience the lesser known side of international wine production. We feel strongly that small production vintages from forward-thinking, innovative producers represent the most exciting edge of the wine experience. These wines have great stories, impeccable quality, and little exposure to the wider market

Each month you will receive 1 or 2 bottles within the monthly budget of $35 per month or $100 per quarter. All picks will work with the season.
Each monthly shipment will be accompanied by an extensive write-up covering the story of the wine's history and production, the people behind the product, pairing and serving suggestions, recipe ideas, and recommendations for similar wines carried in the shop.
Wine Club members will receive discounts of 5% for single bottles, 10% for half-case and 15% on case purchases of recommended in-shop bottles for the duration of the month.
Besides in-store pickup of monthly wine club releases we offer delivery options to immediate and regional Chicago addresses.
Shipping is available to all 50 states. Bottles are shipped in durable packaging through UPS for an average charge of $10 whether they're going to Naperville or Nashville.
Minimum member ship is 1 quarter or 3 months. Maximum membership is 1 full year. Register by January 1st 2007 for the upcoming quarter.
