Forlorn Hope Queen of the Sierra 2019 Estate RoseIn Fine Spirits
Resembling the color of fresh watermelon juice, Forlorn Hope is an unfiltered/unfined blend of Zinfandel and Barbera from Calaveras County in eastern California. Medium-bodied, dry. A cloudy red-rose color with noticeable sediment at the bottom. The nose, palate, and finish is taut, vivacious, and satisfying with hints of cranberry, melon, rosehip, passion fruit, and limestone. Pair with Latin and Asian foods, brunch, Thanksgiving, or on its own.
