Named after local card games, the wines of Mirco Mariotti are lightly frizzante with second fermentation happenings in bottle. Sèt e Mèz is made with the rare and wild Fortana grape that gives this sparkler both fruity and savory notes. Basically, grown on the beach and in sandy soil about 100m from the sea in Emilia-Romagna.  Being in such close proximity to the sea, this wine has a slightly briny/salty quality to it from the salt water spray!  Black cherry, wild strawberry, savory herbs, mineral, dry, easy drinking.
