Mugneret 2018 PourpreIn Fine Spirits
As of the 2018 vintage and with his old vines, great genetic material, and field blends, Pascal felt the name Passetoutgrain was too generic and did not do justice to the wine. He chose to call it Pourpre in reference to its deep purplish hue. Aromas of cherry, especially cherry brandy and undergrowth. Gamay brings fruitiness and freshness, while the Pinot balances with softness and a slight earthiness. The perfect middle-point when you can't decide between Burgundy or Beaujolais!
